Philosophy

As human beings, we are born with the potential to grow and develop into our own uniqueness, while being in harmony with Nature. As we grow, we gather our experiences of growing up. The meaning we make of these experiences in turn forms our perception for the things to come and shapes the life that follows. In this process of meaning making, we unwittingly create stories around our lives. These stories have embedded in them the seeds of connection or disconnection with ourselves, others and Life itself, thus holding a potential direction for our growth. The quality of life that we create for ourselves and for those around us depends on our relationship with these latent seeds. By first becoming aware of these seeds, then picking them up with care, and finally, nurturing them with the right conditions is a subtle and deep process that enable us to blossom into wholeness, and realizing the potential that Life first presented us with.

At Anubhav, we aim to create the conditions for exploring and learning that enable people to examine their experiences and create empowering stories around their life. These stories in turn enable them to create a life full of possibilities. Our programs create awareness and provide tools to:

  • Recognize our own conditioning so that we develop the capacity to see ourselves, others and Life with clarity.
  • Acknowledge and build on the strengths that lie latent within each of us.
  • Acknowledge what is not working for us, while embracing our limitations and turning them into our strengths.

In order for human potential to realize, we strive to create compassionate and empathetic processes and spaces, which provide the participants:

  • Opportunities to observe, identify and acknowledge their own experience, value their strengths and accept their limitations.
  • Opportunities to find innovative, creative and effective solutions to the issues and concerns that they face.
  • Opportunities to inculcate a spirit of free play to engage with self, others and life with courage, compassion and empathy,
  • Challenge to the conditioned self with unconditional acceptance and respect for what emerges, enabling the participants to make sense of their personal experience
  • Freedom to choose, explore and express, so as to engage constructively with Life and find an enabling relationship with self and others.
